Boxed and Tester show our price and the size. A dash means that version is not available today. "Boutique price" is the price we compare the boxed bottle with, and where two sizes are listed it follows the same order. A dash there means we have no boxed bottle to compare. Every perfume here is an eau de parfum. The Character column sums up each perfume's notes. It is not a wear test.

We also stock Parfums de Marly hair mists and a shower gel. They are in the Parfums de Marly collection.

Fresh and daytime

Four bottles for daytime and the office. Our descriptions suggest each one for the working day.

Sedley

Bergamot, spearmint and a watery accord open it. Geranium bourbon, lavender and solar notes follow, on sandalwood, incense, white musk and cedarwood. Our description calls it a modern take on the classic barbershop perfume: clean, calm and confident.

Skip it if you want something sweet. The base is dry and clean.

Greenley

Green apple, bergamot and mandarin open it. The heart is petitgrain, the slightly bitter, leafy oil from the bitter orange tree, on ambrox, amberwood and cedarwood. The house released it in 2020, and it works for men and women.

Skip it if you like warm, sweet perfume. This one is green and woody.

Perseus

Grapefruit, bergamot and black currant open it. Vetiver, mandarin and geranium follow, on dry wood, cashmir wood, ambergris, fir, cedar and tonka bean. It puts fruit and wood together without much sweetness.

Skip it if you want a floral or a dessert-like scent. This is fruit and wood.

Kalan

Blood orange, pepper and spicy notes open it. Lavender and orange blossom follow, on woody notes, oakmoss, sandalwood, tonka bean and amber. It is aromatic and spicy with a clean mood. It is also the lowest-priced tester on this page.

Skip it if you want something soft and creamy. Kalan is zesty and aromatic.

Sweet and warm

Six bottles with vanilla, spice, tobacco or oud. Our descriptions suggest evenings and the cooler months for all of them.

Layton

Apple, bergamot and cardamom open it. Lavender, violet and geranium follow, on patchouli, vanilla, guaiac wood and praline. Hamid Merati-Kashani composed it, and the house released it in 2016. Our description calls it polished and warm rather than sugary.

Skip it if you do not like a creamy, sweet base.

Althaïr

Bergamot, mandarin and elemi open it. Orange blossom, cinnamon and cardamom follow, on Bourbon vanilla, guaiac wood and praline. Hamid Merati-Kashani and Ilias Ermenidis composed it, and the house released it in 2023. Our description suggests a light hand in the heat.

Skip it if you do not like vanilla. It is the star.

Carlisle

Nutmeg, apple and saffron open it. Tonka bean, rose, osmanthus and davana follow, on patchouli, vanilla and opoponax. Our description calls it full and cosy, with a gourmand warmth, and says the rose keeps it from smelling like dessert alone.

Skip it if you want something light. Spice and vanilla make it rich.

Oajan

Cinnamon, honey and osmanthus open it. Benzoin, labdanum, ambergris and artemisia follow, on vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and musk. It is an amber perfume with a rich, cosy and slightly resinous mood.

Skip it if you want something fresh and airy. Oajan is warm amber.

Herod

A warm tobacco scent. Cinnamon and pepper open it. Tobacco leaf, incense, cistus and osmanthus follow, on vanilla, musk and cedarwood. Olivier Pescheux composed it, and the house released it in 2012.

Skip it if you do not like tobacco or smoke.

Haltane

Bergamot and pink peppercorn open it. Saffron, praline, lavender and clary sage follow, on oud, patchouli, vetiver and leather. The house released it in 2021. Our description calls it bold and polished, with a serious mood. We have it as a tester only.

Skip it if you want a light or sweet scent. The base is deep and dark.

Florals for her

Three soft florals, from fruity rose to white flowers and musk.

Delina

Lychee and rhubarb open it, with bergamot. The heart is Damascena rose with nutmeg, on cashmeran, musk and vetiver. Quentin Bisch composed it, and the house released it in 2017. Our description calls it a pretty, polished fruity rose.

Skip it if you do not like rose or fruit notes.

Delina La Rosée

A dewy take on Delina. Litchi, pear, bergamot and pink pepper open it. Turkish rose, peony and watery notes follow, on white musk, woody notes and Haitian vetiver. Quentin Bisch created it, and the house released it in 2021.

Skip it if you want a rich, dark rose. This one is light and clean.

Valaya

Mandarin, bergamot and white peach open it. Orange blossom and white flowers follow, on white musk, akigalawood, vanilla and vetiver. Quentin Bisch composed it, and the house released it in 2023. Our description calls it quiet and elegant.

Skip it if you want a loud or sweet scent. Valaya is soft and musky.

The Exclusif versions

In the bottles we stock, Exclusif marks a deeper take on an existing scent. Our descriptions say Delina Exclusif makes Delina darker and warmer, Valaya Exclusif deepens the original Valaya, and Pegasus Exclusif keeps the bitter almond and vanilla idea of the original Pegasus with an oriental twist. Layton Exclusif adds oud to the vanilla and wood. The notes differ from the original in each case, so read them before you choose.

Layton Exclusif

Almond, mandarin orange and bergamot open it, with apple and grapefruit. Lavender, geranium, cinnamon, rose and civet follow, on Laotian oud, guaiac wood, vanilla, sandalwood, amber, coffee and oakmoss. Our description calls it bold, polished and slightly dark.

Skip it if you want it light. The oud and vanilla make it deep.

Delina Exclusif

Litchi and pear open it, with bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper. The heart is rose with agarwood oud and incense, on vanilla, amber, woody notes, musk and vetiver. Our description calls it rich, with a romantic, deep mood.

Skip it if you want a light, airy rose. Try Delina La Rosée instead.

Valaya Exclusif

Almond, bergamot and mandarin open it. Orange blossom, lily of the valley and lotus make a powdery heart, on ambroxan, vanilla, akigalawood, sandalwood, white musk and heliotrope. It is a 2025 perfume, and our description calls it creamy and velvety.

Skip it if you do not like powdery scents.

Pegasus Exclusif

Cardamom, pink pepper, bergamot and heliotrope open it. The heart is bitter almond with lavender, jasmine and geranium, on vanilla, guaiac wood, agarwood oud, sandalwood and amber. The mood is warm, smooth and refined, with a slightly smoky finish.

Skip it if you do not like almond or oud.

Boxed or tester

A boxed bottle comes in the brand's retail box, so it suits a gift. A tester is the same perfume in the brand's own tester box, new, unused and unsprayed. It costs less, but the box is the tester box, not the retail box. Where we have both in the same size, the tester costs AED 90 to AED 120 less. Haltane, Layton Exclusif and Delina Exclusif are available as testers only today.

The full difference is in tester vs boxed perfume.

The notes and moods come from each product page, and the Best for column repeats what those descriptions suggest. Prices and sizes are read from the live product pages.
