Y Iced Cologne by Yves Saint Laurent is a cool, minty perfume. It opens with mint and an icy note that feels cold and clean from the first spray. The heart keeps the mint going, with mint tea and blue sage adding a green, herbal softness. Patchouli and ambroxan sit underneath and give a warm, woody base to balance the chill. Dominique Ropion created it as an Eau de Toilette Intense, which is a step stronger than a standard Eau de Toilette. It tends to suit hot weather, summer days and anyone who likes a crisp, sharp smell. The mood is energetic and clean. If regular fresh scents feel too soft, this one is a more direct choice.
