About this perfume
Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent is a sweet, dark perfume. It starts with pink pepper and orange blossom, which give a small spark and a soft floral edge. Coffee and jasmine take over in the heart, so it smells roasted and floral at the same time. It dries down to vanilla, patchouli and cedar. It was launched in 2014 by Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc. The mood is warm, a little edgy and easy to recognise. With coffee and vanilla at the core, it tends to suit cooler weather and evenings out. As an Eau de Parfum, it is richer than a light cologne. Wear it when you want something sweet that still feels a bit dark. Tester: the same fragrance and the same bottle, in the brand's own tester box. New, unused and unsprayed.
