About winter perfume
In the UAE the cooler months run from November to March. Evenings outdoors, desert nights and cold air-conditioned rooms all suit richer perfume. Xerjoff has the most winter bottles here, then Profumum Roma, Boadicea the Victorious, Mancera, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Tom Ford and Stéphane Humbert Lucas.
Notes for cool nights
- Tobacco and honey: warm, sweet and smooth.
- Leather and suede: dark and confident.
- Oud, incense and resins: smoky and deep, and they last well.
- Sandalwood and spice: soft warmth that stays close.
These are stronger than summer scents. Start with one or two sprays.
For the office in the cooler months
- Santalum by Profumum Roma: creamy sandalwood wrapped in warm spice and myrrh. Calm and quiet.
- Naxos by Xerjoff: lemon, bergamot and lavender, then honey, cinnamon and jasmine, ending in tobacco leaf, tonka and vanilla.
