About this perfume
Tam Dao was composed by Daniel Molière and launched in 2013 as the richer Eau de Parfum version of Diptyque's 2003 Tam Dao. The core is creamy sandalwood, with dry cedar beside it. Amberwood, vanilla and musk warm the wood, while coriander, ginger and lime add a bright, spicy lift at the start. Tam Dao by Diptyque is a calm, smooth and woody perfume with a warm, soft mood. The wood is the main story, and the spice and lime stop it from feeling heavy. As an Eau de Parfum, it has more depth than a light woody cologne, so it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and quiet, relaxed days. It is a good pick for anyone who loves sandalwood. The notes are sandalwood, cedar, amberwood, coriander, musk, lime, vanilla and ginger.
