The house's description
Tuberose at dusk, on a Vietnamese shoreline. Do Son grew out of Yves Coueslant's memory of the seaside town where his family spent their summers, and the white flowers in the garden that opened as the light went. In eau de parfum the tuberose is fuller and far longer-lived than in the original eau de toilette — creamy, narcotic, close to the skin — while a green bite of orange leaf and a crackle of pink pepper keep it from ever turning cloying.
