About this perfume
Libre Absolu Platine by Yves Saint Laurent is a lavender and vanilla perfume with a bright, clean start. Aldehydes, bergamot and mandarin open it with a fresh, slightly soapy sparkle. Lavender and orange blossom come through in the middle, one herbal and one soft and floral. The base is vanilla and amber, which round it off and add warmth. The mood is polished and calm, with a sweet edge rather than a loud one. As a Parfum, it is the most concentrated style, so it tends to feel richer than a lighter Eau de Toilette. Lavender with vanilla suits cooler days and evenings, and the fresh opening keeps it from feeling heavy. It is a good choice if you like lavender but want it softer and sweeter.
