About this perfume
Elle by Yves Saint Laurent opens with juicy lychee, fresh peony and bright Amalfi lemon. A spark of pink pepper leads into a heart of rose, jasmine and freesia. The base turns darker and more grown up, with earthy patchouli, vetiver, cedar and a soft musky ambrette. The result is a confident floral with a dry, woody edge, more chic than sweet. This perfume suits women who like their florals with some attitude. It works well for evenings, dinners and the office, and it comes into its own in cooler weather. Elle was launched in 2007 and created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Olivier Cresp.
