About this perfume
Gris Dior Esprit de Parfum is a richer, more concentrated take on the original Gris Dior perfume. It opens on Bulgarian rose, then settles into dry Atlas cedar. Patchouli and a soft amber accord carry it down to a warm, woody base. The feel is a classic chypre: polished, a little earthy and quietly elegant. Rose and woods sit side by side, so it reads as neither sweet nor sharp. As an extrait it is denser than the eau de parfum, which suits cooler evenings, winter days at work and anyone who likes grown-up, grey-toned scents. Francis Kurkdjian reworked it in 2024 for La Collection Privée Christian Dior Esprit de Parfum. Tester: the same fragrance and the same bottle, in the brand's own tester box. New, unused and unsprayed.
