About this perfume
Thorns Become Roses is a rose perfume that starts sharp and ends soft. Saffron and cardamom give the opening a spicy bite, while lychee and raspberry bring a juicy sweetness. At its heart is Turkish rose with mimosa and green violet leaf, and the base of patchouli, sandalwood and amberwood makes it deep and warm. It is a rose for anyone, not only for women. The spice and woods keep it from feeling sugary or old fashioned, so it suits evenings, cooler weather and people who want a rose with presence. Nishane launched it in 2026 as part of its Rumi Collection, inspired by Rumi's line about thorns turning into roses through love. It was created by perfumer Julien Rasquinet and comes as an Extrait de Parfum.
