Peacock Throne opens with powdery orris root, Indian jasmine and a lift of pink pepper. At its centre is Taif rose, rich and deep. The base is warm and earthy, with patchouli, vetiver and soft vanilla. It is an oriental rose with a powdery, spicy edge, made for those who love rose in its fullest form. Women and men both wear it well. It suits evenings, weddings, cooler weather and special occasions, when the patchouli and vanilla depth can shine. Thameen built this perfume around Taif rose, a rose named after the city of Taif in Arabia. Tester: the same fragrance and the same bottle, in the brand's own tester box. New, unused and unsprayed.
