Musk to Musk by Montale starts with warm nutmeg and a touch of lavender. The heart brings lotus flower over a woody blend of oud and creamy sandalwood. It dries down to soft white musk and amber, which is where the musk of the name comes through most clearly. It feels warm, smooth and a little mysterious, with the oud kept gentle rather than smoky. This perfume works for both men and women who want a musky scent with more depth than a clean everyday musk. It sits best on cooler evenings, at dinners and on quiet nights out. It was launched in 2010 and is credited to Pierre Montale.
