Honour Woman

Alexandra Carlin and Violaine Collas's 2011 white floral, and one of the house's defining feminines. Rhubarb, pepper and coriander open it green and sharp, gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and carnation build a full but restrained heart, and amber, incense, opoponax, vetiver and leather give it the Amouage backbone. Tuberose and jasmine that never shout — the incense and leather underneath are what make it feel expensive rather than loud. Excellent longevity, as you would expect.
