About this perfume
Guidance opens with juicy pear, smoky frankincense and creamy hazelnut, which is bright and a little unexpected. The heart is a warm bouquet of saffron, rose, jasmine sambac and osmanthus. It settles into cistus, sandalwood, akigalawood, ambergris and vanilla, a soft and resinous warmth. Guidance by Amouage is built on the house's signature mix of rose, frankincense and ambergris. It is a warm, floral and resinous perfume with a calm, graceful mood. It tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and dressed up occasions. The pear and hazelnut at the start stop the rose from feeling too formal, so it stays friendly.
