About this perfume
Happy opens in a burst of citrus. Orange, blood grapefruit, Indian mandarin and bergamot are joined by apple and plum, so the start is juicy, sparkling and sweet-tart. The heart turns floral with lily-of-the-valley, freesia, orchid and rose, light and clean. The base is soft, with mimosa, lily, magnolia, musk and amber adding a gentle warmth. Happy by Clinique is a bright, fruity floral perfume, created in 1998 by Jean-Claude Delville and Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The mood is cheerful, clean and easy. With so much citrus and so many light flowers, it tends to suit daytime, the office, spring and summer, and anyone who wants an uncomplicated fresh floral.
