About this perfume
Aromatics Elixir by Clinique opens with chamomile, clary sage, coriander, lemon verbena and bergamot, herbal and bright, with a lift of aldehydes. The heart is a full bouquet of rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, tuberose, carnation, orange blossom and orris. Oakmoss, patchouli, incense, vetiver, sandalwood and musk make a deep, earthy chypre base. Fragrantica credits Bernard Chant, and it launched in 1971 as the first Clinique fragrance. This Clinique perfume suits cooler months, evenings and women who like a bold, herbal scent with real character. It feels classic and confident rather than sweet.
