About this perfume
Fahrenheit launched in 1988 and still smells unlike most men's perfumes. It opens bright and aromatic with lavender, nutmeg flower and citrus. The violet leaf at the heart gives it a famous metallic, almost petrol like edge, softened by honeysuckle, jasmine, carnation and cedar. The base is warm leather, vetiver, patchouli, musk and tonka bean. Fahrenheit by Dior is an unconventional perfume with a confident, slightly rebellious mood. It starts sharp and fresh, then settles into smooth leather and wood. As an Eau de Toilette, it is lighter than an Eau de Parfum, so it tends to suit daytime, work and cooler days. It is a good match for anyone who wants something recognisable and different from the usual fresh, sweet crowd.
