About this perfume
Encre Noire à l'Extrême takes the dark vetiver of the original and makes it warmer and smoother. Cypress, elemi and bergamot open with a dry, resinous freshness. The heart blends two vetivers with incense and orris, so the woods feel smoky and slightly powdery rather than damp. Benzoin, sandalwood and patchouli give the base a soft, ambery warmth. This Lalique perfume suits cool evenings and anyone who enjoys woody scents with a calm, refined feel. It launched in 2015. If you find the original Encre Noire too sharp, this version is rounder and easier to like, with the incense and benzoin adding comfort to the woods. Tester: the same fragrance and the same bottle, in the brand's own tester box. New, unused and unsprayed.
