About this perfume
Encens Suave was composed by Aurélien Guichard. It opens with coffee, dark and a little bitter. The heart pairs incense with Madagascar vanilla, so the smoke is softened by sweetness. Benzoin and labdanum make up the base and add a warm, resinous depth. Encens Suave by Matière Première is an incense perfume that feels warm and wrapped around you rather than churchy or sharp. The coffee and vanilla give it a cosy, gourmand edge. It tends to suit cooler weather, evenings and anyone who wants incense that is smoky but soft. As an Eau de Parfum it has a fuller body than a light cologne.
