Crystal Noir opens with a warm spice of pepper, ginger and cardamom, which gives it a bit of bite from the first spray. The heart is creamy and white floral: coconut, gardenia, orange blossom and peony. It settles on sandalwood, musk and amber, which keep it soft and smooth against the spice. Crystal Noir by Versace is an amber floral perfume by Antoine Lie, launched in 2004. The mood is sensual and dressy, with a rich, creamy warmth under the spice. With these notes, it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and dressed up occasions. It is a good pick if you like florals that feel warm and a little dark rather than fresh and airy.
