About this perfume
Black Orchid by Tom Ford is the house's signature dark floral perfume. It opens with black truffle, blackcurrant and gardenia, so the start is earthy, fruity and a little inky. A rich heart of orchid, spices and ylang-ylang follows, with jasmine and lotus keeping it floral. The base is dark chocolate, patchouli, incense and vanilla, with amber, sandalwood and white musk behind them. It is deep, sweet and moody, and feels more like an evening scent than a daytime one. This page offers an Eau de Parfum and a Parfum, both 100ml. The Parfum is the stronger concentration, so it tends to feel denser and richer. Either suits cool weather, dinners and nights out, for anyone who likes a dark, dramatic floral.
