About this perfume
Bibliothèque opens with ripe peach and plum, sweet and a little jammy. Peony and violet follow, adding a soft floral and slightly powdery layer. The base brings smooth leather and earthy patchouli, wrapped in vanilla and musk, so the fruit settles into something warm and worn in. The mood is cosy and quiet, like an old reading room. It is a good choice for autumn and winter, for slow days and for evenings. Anyone who likes fruity leather scents with a gentle sweetness will find a lot to enjoy. Byredo first made this scent as a candle, then turned the same composition into a perfume in 2017.
