About this perfume
Babylonia opens with black currant, bergamot and davana, with a small lift of pink pepper. It starts fruity and bright, a little tart and a little herbal. The heart turns powdery and floral, with orris, violet, bellflower and orange blossom. It settles into a soft, sweet base of vanilla absolute, praline, Siam benzoin and white musk. Babylonia by Ormonde Jayne is a gourmand floral perfume with a gentle, cosy mood. The powdery flowers keep the sweetness from turning heavy. As an Eau de Parfum, it has a good amount of presence without being loud. With these notes, it tends to suit cooler days and evenings, and anyone who likes vanilla with a soft floral edge.
