Nicolaï
Patricia de Nicolaï, from the Guerlain family, founded her independent Paris house in 1989. All three perfumes here are Intense versions, and each comes as a tester. Baikal Leather Intense is a polished leather with yuzu and iris, Patchouli Intense is spicy and smooth, and Saint Honoré Intense smells of hazelnut, milk and vanilla. About Nicolaï
Patricia de Nicolaï founded Nicolaï in Paris in 1989. She belongs to the Guerlain family. The house is independent and French, and its profile at the Fragranze trade fair says it controls the whole production cycle in-house, from natural essences to packaging. The perfumer and the art of composition sit at the centre of its work.
Where to start at AZ & CO
- Baikal Leather Intense: yuzu, saffron and pepper, then leather with iris and violet, over guaiac wood, vetiver and sandalwood.
- Patchouli Intense: lavender, orange and geranium, a heart of patchouli and rose, then sandalwood, vanilla and incense.
- Saint Honoré Intense: pepper and bergamot, then hazelnut and milk, over vanilla absolute and sandalwood.

Which Nicolaï perfume smells like a pastry?
Saint Honoré Intense. It is inspired by French pastry, with roasted hazelnut, milk and orange blossom over vanilla absolute, sandalwood, musk and amber. It was released in 2024 in Les Gourmandises, a set built around French desserts.
