About Jean Paul Gaultier
French designer Jean Paul Gaultier (جان بول غوتييه) showed his first collection in 1976 and founded his own label in 1982. Classique came out in 1993 and Le Male in 1995, composed by Francis Kurkdjian. Puig has made the perfumes since 2016 and now controls the fashion house as well.
The lines, decoded
- Le Male: the torso bottle in a striped sailor top, packed in a can. Le Male Elixir is the sweet one, with honey, tonka and tobacco. Le Male Le Parfum is powdery, with cardamom, iris and vanilla. Ultra Male, also by Francis Kurkdjian, adds pear, mint and black vanilla.
- Scandal: honey and gardenia for women, in a leg-shaped bottle. Scandal Pour Homme swaps the flowers for caramel and tonka.
- Le Beau: the tropical corner of the men's range. Le Beau Le Parfum mixes pineapple, ginger and coconut over tonka and sandalwood.
- Classique and Divine: for women. Classique is a powdery orange blossom and vanilla scent; Divine Le Parfum Intense brings solar notes, frangipani and sea salt.

Are Jean Paul Gaultier testers sold here?
Yes. Some Gaultier bottles come only as testers, and some let you choose tester or boxed. A tester holds the same perfume as the boxed bottle and ships in the brand's own tester box, new, unused and unsprayed.
Le Male Elixir or Le Male Le Parfum?
On paper they lean different ways. Le Male Elixir is the sweeter one: lavender and mint over honey, tonka and tobacco. Le Male Le Parfum is drier and more powdery, built on cardamom, lavender, iris and vanilla. If you like honeyed scents, start with the Elixir.
