About Armani
Giorgio Armani and the architect Sergio Galeotti founded the company in Milan in 1975. Emporio Armani followed in 1981 as the second Armani line, and Armani Privé is the made-to-order label, with its own perfumes. Armani (أرماني) has worked with L'Oréal on fragrance since a licensing deal in 1980.
The lines, decoded
- Acqua di Giò: Alberto Morillas's 1996 men's scent of lime, lemon and sea notes. Profondo Parfum is the deeper marine version, with patchouli and labdanum; the Elixir adds nutmeg, violet leaf and leather.
- Stronger With You: Emporio Armani's men's line, first released in 2017, with candied chestnut and vanilla at its core. Intensely adds cinnamon and tonka, Absolutely adds rum, Powerfully adds cherry, and Spices adds saffron and clove.
- My Way and Sì: the women's lines. My Way is orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine over vanilla; Sì is blackcurrant, May rose and freesia over vanilla and patchouli.
- Armani Privé: Cuir Majesté pairs leather with oud and tobacco; Rouge Malachite is built around tuberose.

Which Armani is best for summer in the UAE?
Acqua di Giò Eau de Toilette, on its notes: lime, lemon and bergamot over sea notes, jasmine and rosemary. Profondo Parfum and the Elixir keep the marine idea but add patchouli, labdanum or leather, so they carry more weight for evenings. For women, My Way Sunny Vanilla brings pineapple and bergamot to the My Way base.
Does AZ & CO have Armani testers?
