About this perfume
Acqua di Giò Elixir starts with bright bergamot and green mandarin, with a pinch of nutmeg for warmth. The heart keeps the sea water feel of the original and adds violet leaf, which smells green and slightly dry. Underneath, leather, patchouli, vetiver and labdanum make the base darker, earthier and a little resinous. The water note is still there, but it now sits on something deeper. Acqua di Giò Elixir by Armani is a perfume that takes the fresh aquatic idea and gives it more depth. The mood is calm, confident and a little rugged. With the leather and patchouli, it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and smart casual dress, though the fresh opening keeps it easy to wear in the day too. Choose it if you like the classic aquatic style but want something richer.
