About this perfume
Acqua di Gio opens with a burst of lime, lemon and bergamot, so the first spray smells crisp, wet and citrusy. Calone and sea water sit at the heart, which gives it a clean, salty, breezy feel, with a soft floral touch from jasmine, freesia and hyacinth. Rosemary and peach add a little green and a little juice along the way. It dries down to musk, cedar and oakmoss, with patchouli and amber keeping the base smooth. Acqua di Gio by Armani is a fresh, marine perfume with a clean and easygoing mood. As an Eau de Toilette it is lighter than an Eau de Parfum, so it reads as bright and airy rather than heavy. With these notes, it tends to suit daytime, warm weather, the office and relaxed weekends. It is an easy pick when you want to smell tidy and fresh without trying too hard.
