Elie Saab is a Lebanese designer, born in Beirut, who started his fashion business in the early 1980s. He is known for evening gowns worn by many celebrities on the red carpet. His first fragrance, Le Parfum, launched in 2011 and was created by Francis Kurkdjian, and Fragrantica credits other perfumers on later bottles.

Le Parfum in White is the brighter of the two, with orange blossom, red berries, jasmine and peach over white musk and white amber. Le Parfum Absolu is a fuller white floral, with tuberose, gardenia and jasmine sambac over amber, benzoin and vanilla.
