BDK Parfums
BDK Parfums is the independent Paris studio David Benedek founded in 2016 near the Palais Royal. His family opened its first Paris perfume shop in the 1960s on rue Saint-Honoré. Gris Charnel, Pas ce Soir and Velvet Tonka are among its bestsellers. Some BDK scents also come as testers. Every bottle is checked before it ships, with its batch code left readable. If it is not genuine, we collect it free and refund every dirham.

About BDK Parfums
David Benedek was born in Paris in 1989 into a perfume family. His grandparents opened their first shop in the 1960s at the corner of rue Royale and rue Saint-Honoré. He founded BDK Parfums in 2016 as an independent studio in the Palais Royal quarter, and every scent starts from one chosen raw material. The cap is modelled on the dome of the Grand Palais.
The two BDK collections we stock most:
- Collection Parisienne: each scent tells a story from a corner of Paris. Gris Charnel, Pas ce Soir, Impadia and Bouquet de Hongrie are here.
- Collection Matières: built around one standout material, such as tonka in Velvet Tonka, tuberose in Tubéreuse Impériale and vanilla in Vanille Leather.
Several BDK scents also come as an Extrait, a stronger version. Gris Charnel is on our shelves in both Eau de Parfum and Extrait.

What is the difference between Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum and Extrait?
The same idea at two strengths. BDK describes Gris Charnel as woody and powdery, with sandalwood, vetiver and tonka. The Extrait is more concentrated, which usually means a richer scent that lasts longer; the Eau de Parfum is lighter and easier by day. Both sit on one product page here.
How do I check a BDK bottle is original?
Start with the batch code: the code on the box and the code on the bottle should be identical. Then check the glass, the cap and the spray. Which BDK perfume is best for summer in the UAE?
Impadia opens on mandarin, bergamot and pear over rose and orange flower. Bouquet de Hongrie is pear and blackcurrant over rose and jasmine, on a soft base of musk and cedar. Velvet Tonka and Vanille Leather are better kept for cooler months.
