Atkinsons
James Atkinson opened a London soap and perfume shop in 1799 and became the royal family's perfumer in 1826. We have 44 Gerrard Street, a lime and ginger cologne, and Oud Save the Queen, with clove, tea and oud. Many are testers: the same perfume in the brand's own tester box, new, unused and unsprayed. Each bottle is checked before it ships, its batch code stays readable, and one that is not genuine is refunded.

About Atkinsons
James Atkinson opened his soap and perfume shop in London in 1799, and in 1826 he became the personal perfumer of the royal family. The house is now based in Italy, with the revived brand at atkinsons1799.com. Fragrantica lists its earliest edition as 1799 and credits perfumers including Christine Nagel, Maurice Roucel and Jordi Fernández.

- 44 Gerrard Street: an Eau de Cologne of lime, ginger and eucalyptus, then rose, orchid and jasmine, over woods and amber.
- 41 Burlington Arcade: white pepper, grapefruit and lemon, then licorice, cardamom, nutmeg and pimento, over vetiver, cedar, amber, smoke and musk.
- Oud Save the Queen: cloves, bergamot and tea, then jasmine and orange blossom, over tonka bean, agarwood oud and guaiac wood.
