About this perfume
Ylang Ambrato from Gucci's Alchemist's Garden opens with black pepper, neroli and bergamot, bright with a spicy spark. The heart pairs creamy ylang ylang with tonka bean, benzoin and pimento leaf, so the flowers feel warm and almost edible. Tobacco, opoponax, labdanum, oak and tolu balsam give a deep, resinous amber base. It is a rich, creamy amber perfume for men and women, warm and a little sweet, best on cooler evenings, dinners and slow nights in. Fragrantica lists it as a 2025 creation by Jean-Christophe Hérault, in the house's black glass apothecary bottle. Tester: the same fragrance and the same bottle, in the brand's own tester box.
