About Gucci
Gucci (غوتشي) was founded by Guccio Gucci in Florence in 1921. In 1966 Rodolfo Gucci and the illustrator Vittorio Accornero designed the Flora scarf for Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, and that print now appears on the Flora perfume packaging. In 2017 Bloom became the first Gucci fragrance developed wholly under creative director Alessandro Michele, composed by Alberto Morillas.
The lines, decoded
- Flora: the floral women's line, each bottle named after its flower. Gorgeous Gardenia adds pear blossom, red berries and brown sugar; Gorgeous Jasmine adds black pepper and rose; Gorgeous Magnolia is the softest, with coconut and musk.
- Bloom: jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper. Bloom Intense adds pear, ginger and coconut.
- Guilty: the line for him and her. Guilty Elixir pour Homme is spicy and powdery, with orris and orange blossom; Guilty Absolu de Parfum pour Homme (2025) mixes almond, rum, chilli and leather.
- The Alchemist's Garden: the high-perfumery range, named after Michele's Fall 2017 collection. The Voice of the Snake (oud, patchouli, saffron) and the 2025 Fiori di Neroli belong here.
