About this perfume
Vanilla Aube by Ormonde Jayne is a vanilla perfume that leans spicy and nutty instead of sweet. Pistachio, cardamom, black pepper and a juicy touch of pomegranate open it. The heart brings soft iris, creamy fig and the warm, woody hum of cashmeran, and the base settles into vanilla with sandalwood, vetiver and a salty trace of ambergris. It feels warm but never sugary, closer to a vanilla pod and soft leather than to dessert. It suits men and women who want a quieter, more savoury vanilla, and it is best on cooler evenings. It was created by perfumer Elodie Bernard with the house founder, Linda Pilkington.
