About this perfume
The Legacy of Petra by Penhaligon's is a woody, spicy perfume from the Trade Routes collection, created by Nathalie Gracia-Cetto in 2022. Green tea, fennel and bergamot open it fresh, with a light anise note. The heart of liquorice, myrrh, olibanum and rosemary is resinous and smells a little like incense. Benzoin, vanilla and woody notes warm the base without making it sweet. The overall feel is dry, calm and a little ceremonial. With these notes, it tends to suit cooler weather, evenings and people who prefer incense and spice to sugar. It stands apart from the rest of the Trade Routes line.
