About this perfume
Castley opens with bergamot, fresh ginger and black pepper, a crisp, zesty and slightly spicy start. The heart brings petitgrain, Timut pepper and neroli, which add a clean citrus and floral lift. The base is akigalawood, labdanum and benzoin, an earthy, woody finish with a soft, resinous warmth. Castley by Parfums de Marly is a fresh, spicy perfume with a polished, outdoorsy mood. The ginger and pepper give it energy, while the labdanum and benzoin stop it from feeling thin. With these notes, it tends to suit daytime, the office and warmer weather, and the soft base means it can also work in cooler months. It is a good everyday pick for anyone who likes fresh, peppery woods. As an Eau de Parfum, it has a full body.
