About this perfume
Old Fashioned is built to smell like aged single malt whiskey. It opens with wheat and davana, a herb with a fruity, slightly boozy scent, for a smooth first impression. The heart is immortelle and cedarwood. Immortelle adds a honeyed, dried herb warmth, and cedarwood gives a dry, pencil shaving note. The base is styrax and tolu balsam, two resins that smell smoky, sweet and a little leathery, like old barrels. Old Fashioned by Kilian, from the Liquors collection, is a warm, boozy perfume with a calm, cozy mood. It tends to suit autumn, winter, fireside evenings and slow dinners. As an Eau de Parfum, it is rich enough for cool weather.
