Heartless Helen by Penhaligon's is a white floral perfume from the Portraits collection, composed by Dominique Ropion. Pink pepper and mandarin open it bright and a little spicy. Jasmine and tuberose then make the heart clearly white floral, rich and creamy. Sandalwood, cashmeran and creamy woods hold it down with a soft, smooth base. The tuberose is shown with restraint, so it feels full without turning sharp. The mood is dramatic and confident. With these notes, it tends to suit evenings, dinners and cooler weather. The bottle has a rooster shaped stopper, which is part of its charm.
