Essential opens bright and green, with bergamot, tangerine and cassia over a crisp tomato leaf accord. The leaf note gives it a fresh, garden-like snap that sets it apart from most citrus scents. Rose and pepper sit in the heart, keeping things light but a little spicy, before sandalwood and patchouli settle in at the base. This Lacoste perfume suits warm days, the office and casual weekends, and works well for anyone who likes clean, green fragrances that feel easy to wear. Essential was created by Laurent Bruyère and launched in 2005.
