About this perfume
Burning Barbershop is a DS & Durga perfume that opens with cool spearmint, sharp lime and the green snap of hemlock spruce. Lavender absolute sits at the heart, rounded by tuberose and Turkish rose. Then the smoke comes in. A burnt oil note drifts over sweet vanilla and dry hay, like a classic shave lather left too close to a fire. This is the old barbershop fougère turned smoky and a little wild. The mint and lavender keep it fresh and familiar, while the vanilla and hay give it warmth underneath. It tends to suit men who like classic grooming scents with an edge, and it feels most at home on cool evenings and autumn days. David Seth Moltz, who co-founded the New York house, created it in 2010.
