Bois Sikar opens with precious woods and nutmeg, so the start is dry, woody and lightly spicy. The heart is styrax, guaiac wood and cedar leaves. Styrax is balsamic and a little smoky, and guaiac wood adds a dry, smoky, slightly leathery feel. The base is tobacco leaf and Java vetiver, giving an earthy, dry finish. Bois Sikar by Atelier des Ors is a woody tobacco perfume with a calm, dark and serious mood. It has no sugary notes, so the style is dry and grown up rather than sweet. As an Eau de Parfum, and with these notes, it tends to suit evenings, autumn and winter, and quiet, dressed up occasions. It is a good match for anyone who likes smoky woods and tobacco.
