Rose Omeyyade by Atelier des Ors is a sweet oriental rose perfume. Rose, raspberry and pink pepper open it bright and jammy. Sugar and patchouli thicken the heart, so the fruit turns richer and deeper. The base is oud, amber and sandalwood, which pulls it towards Middle Eastern style. This is a rose in the Gulf style rather than the French one. It is sweet, resinous and heavy. The raspberry and sugar make it feel plush, and the oud keeps it dark. As an Eau de Parfum, it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and anyone who likes a bold, sweet rose with oud.
