About Sospiro
Sospiro was started by Sergio Momo, the man behind Xerjoff, as a separate line linking perfume to classical music and opera. Many of its names come from the concert hall and the opera house, such as Tenore, Basso, Diva and Traviata.
How to read the range:
- The music names: Tenore and Basso take the Italian words for tenor and bass, while Cadenza, Dolce Melodia and Dolce Sonata borrow terms from written music.
- The Erba scents: Erba Pura Magica and Erba Leather. Magica is fruity and sweet, with caramel in the base. Erba Leather puts leather under passionfruit and bergamot.
- Vibrato: a citrus scent built on grapefruit, bergamot and ginger.
