Profumum Roma has made perfume in Rome since 1996 and has its own stores there. Its perfumes carry a very high share of oils, so a little goes a long way. The house sorts its scents into families, from Mediterranean citrus to incense, woods and vanilla. Every bottle is checked before it ships, with its batch code left readable. If it is not genuine, we collect it free and refund every dirham.

About Profumum Roma
Profumum Roma has made niche perfume in Rome since 1996 and marks 30 years in 2026. It runs several stores in the city, one of them on Via Ripetta, and makes body care and home scents alongside its perfumes. In its own words, the perfumes carry a very high share of essences.
Instead of collections, Profumum groups its scents into olfactory families. The ones that matter most for our shelves:
- Mediterranean: citrus, green and herbal, like Orangea and Victrix.
- Incensed and Smoky: two families of resins and smoke, like Olibanum, Arso and Audace.
- Woody: sandalwood, patchouli and other woods, like Santalum, Patchouly, Antico Caruso and Vir.
- Vanilla: the sweet side of the house, like Dulcis in Fundo, Confetto, Battito d'Ali and Acqua e Zucchero.

Will Profumum Roma stain my clothes?
It can. The house says its perfumes hold a very high concentration of oils and asks you to take care with delicate fabrics such as silk. Its advice is to spray on skin, rub in for a few seconds, then dress. Worth knowing before you spray near a white kandura or a silk shayla.
Why does my new bottle look a different colour?
Profumum says colour can change from one production batch to the next, depending on where the essential oils come from, how long the perfume matures and even the climate. A slight difference on its own does not mean a fake. The checks that do matter, such as a batch code that matches on box and bottle, are in our guide on how to check if a perfume is original. Which Profumum is best for summer in the UAE?
Look at the Mediterranean family. Orangea is petitgrain, bergamot, mint and cedar leaf. Victrix is herbal, built on laurel, coriander, oak wood and pink pepper. Because these perfumes are so concentrated, one or two sprays is a sensible start in the heat.
