Maison Francis Kurkdjian was co-founded in 2009 by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya. Its best-known scent, Baccarat Rouge 540, began as a perfume for the crystal maker Baccarat's 250th anniversary. Some bottles here are testers, and Baccarat Rouge 540 is offered both ways. About Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Maison Francis Kurkdjian (ميزون فرانسيس كوركدجيان) was co-founded in 2009 by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and his business partner Marc Chaya. Kurkdjian had already made his name in 1995 with a men's fragrance for Jean Paul Gaultier that became one of the world's best sellers. In 2013 the crystal maker Baccarat asked him for a perfume for its 250th anniversary, which became Baccarat Rouge 540.
The range, in plain words
- Baccarat Rouge 540: saffron and jasmine over amberwood, ambergris, fir resin and cedar, in Eau de Parfum and the more concentrated Extrait de Parfum.
- The oud scent: Oud Silk Mood, which pairs Bulgarian rose with oud.

What is the difference between Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum and Extrait?
They share the same idea. The Extrait de Parfum is a higher concentration, so it is usually denser and tends to last longer on skin than the Eau de Parfum. The Eau de Parfum is the lighter of the two.
