About this perfume
Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a golden amber perfume made for the evening. It opens with Spanish labdanum and orange, a warm, resinous glow with a touch of citrus. Lavender and Siam benzoin form the heart, a little smoky and sweet at the same time. The base is amber, vanilla, tonka bean, musk and cedar, rich and soft like a dessert but not syrupy. The mood is calm, warm and understated. As an Eau de Parfum, it tends to suit cold nights, autumn and winter, dinners and special occasions. It is a good pick for people who like amber and want something smooth rather than loud.
