Soleil d'Italie opens with a burst of citrus. There is bitter orange, lime, bergamot and mandarin, with pink pepper and cardamom adding a light spice. A watery note, rose and patchouli follow in the heart, which gives it a fresh, airy feel. The base is musk, cedar, ambergris, vetiver and guaiac wood, clean and dry. Soleil d'Italie by Mancera is a bright, sunny perfume. The name means sun of Italy, and the citrus fits it. With these notes it tends to suit warm weather, daytime and the office. It is a good pick if you want a citrus perfume with some depth in the base.
