About this perfume
Insolence is a bold, powdery floral perfume built around violet. It opens with sweet violet, then wild strawberry and orange blossom bring a juicy, playful heart. The base is iris, vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood, soft, creamy and a little sweet. It is confident and a bit theatrical, with a candied violet character that people tend to notice. As an Eau de Parfum it has a full, warm presence, and with these notes it tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and anyone who loves violet and iris. Insolence was created for Guerlain by perfumer Maurice Roucel.
