Gold Incense opens with cinnamon, angelica and marigold, brightened by bergamot, so the start is warm, spicy and a little herbal. Labdanum and Atlas cedar form a resinous, woody heart. The base is incense, Madagascar vanilla and sandalwood, smoky, creamy and rich. Gold Incense by Carolina Herrera is an amber, woody perfume with a warm and calm mood. The incense is smooth rather than sharp, and the vanilla keeps it soft. It tends to suit evenings, cooler weather and anyone who likes a cosy, resinous scent.
