Iris adds a smooth, powdery softness, cacao gives a dry cocoa feel, and cedar keeps everything woody. Gentleman Boisée by Givenchy is a woody perfume with a warm, polished mood. The base of sandalwood, patchouli and woody notes is dry rather than sweet, so it smells composed and grown up. As an Eau de Parfum, it has a fuller feel than a light cologne.
